Tim provides consulting services to Dental professionals and practices. He provides expertise in start-ups, mergers, transitions, tax and retirement planning, financing assistance and budgeting. Some of the specific areas of consulting are associate, partner, and shareholder arrangements; practice management, practice purchase, sales, buy-ins and buy-outs and the related tax issues.
His CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) designation and his experience are an asset to
dental professionals who are looking to buy or sell a dental practice. Tim has been assisting buyers for 25 years and on any given day is involved in 18-24 transactions across the country. Tim has represented buyers in at least 40 states. Tim also consults with dental professionals who are interested in dental benchmarks and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and how their practices compare to industry norms and similar practices.
Tim has been a speaker at several Dentaltown’s “Townie” meetings, several state
meetings, various dental study club meetings, various dental schools and other
dental related groups. He is a major contributor the Dentaltown Forums Board and the Dental CPA blog and monthly newsletter.
